Faust PlayPrivacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how Faust Play ("we", "us") handles information in our mobile apps and on this website. Faust Play is an independent game studio run by an individual developer based in the Republic of Korea.
In short
- Our games have no accounts. We don't ask for your name, email or phone number.
- Your game progress is saved only on your phone. We don't run game servers and never receive it.
- Our games show ads from Google AdMob. Google collects some device data to show and measure ads, as described below.
- This website uses no cookies, no analytics and no ads.
1. Scope
This policy applies to every app published by Faust Play on Google Play — currently Logicell (로지셀) — and to faustplay.com. If an app ever works differently from what is described here, we will say so in this policy before that app is released.
2. Information stored on your device
Our games save the following on your phone so that you can continue playing:
- game progress: cleared stages, best times, crowns, daily puzzle history and streak;
- hints left and which tips you have already seen;
- small technical values the game needs, such as when an ad was last shown.
This information stays on your device and is not sent to us. It is deleted when you uninstall the game or clear its storage. If you have turned on Android backup to your Google account, Android may include this data in that backup and restore it when you reinstall the game. That backup is handled by Google, and we cannot access it.
3. Advertising (Google AdMob)
Our games are free and show ads through Google AdMob, a service of Google LLC (for users in the EEA and Switzerland, Google Ireland Limited). The Google Mobile Ads SDK inside the app automatically collects and sends to Google:

Google uses this data to show ads (including personalized ads where permitted), to measure ad performance and for analytics, and to prevent fraud and abuse. The data is encrypted in transit. Google processes it under its own Privacy Policy; see also How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services.
We do not receive data that identifies you. AdMob gives us only aggregated reports, such as the number of ads shown and earnings by country.
Your ad choices
- EEA, UK and Switzerland: when you first open the game, Google's consent tool asks for your choices about personalized ads. You can change them at any time in the game: tap the gear (Settings) button at the top of the main menu, then Ad privacy choices. If you don't consent, Google may still show non-personalized or limited ads.
- Everywhere: you can turn off personalized ads for all apps in your phone's settings (Settings → Privacy → Ads, or Settings → Google → Ads) by deleting or resetting your advertising ID. You can also review your Google ad settings at adssettings.google.com.
- US state privacy laws: we do not sell personal information for money. The use of device identifiers for personalized ads by the ad service may count as "sharing" or "targeted advertising" under some US state laws. You can opt out as described above.
4. Emails you send us
If you email support@faustplay.com, we receive your email address, your message and anything you attach. We use them only to reply and to fix the problem you report. Emails are delivered through Cloudflare Email Routing to our mailbox hosted by Google (Gmail). We keep them until your inquiry is resolved and delete them within one year after that, unless you ask us to delete them sooner or the law requires us to keep them longer.
5. Testing programs
Before a game is released, we may invite people to a closed test on Google Play. If you join one through our Google Group, we can see the email address of your Google account (and your name, if your account shows it) in the group's member list. We use it only to run the test: to confirm that you joined, to contact you about the test and to act on your feedback. If you stay in the group, we may also invite you to test our future games. We also see any feedback you choose to send through Google Play or by email.
Other testers cannot see the member list. You can leave the group or the test at any time. We keep our participation list until the test ends and delete it within 3 months after that. The group runs on Google Groups and the test on Google Play, both services of Google LLC. Test versions show Google test ads instead of real ads.
6. This website
faustplay.com does not use cookies, analytics, ads, or third-party scripts or fonts. It is hosted by Cloudflare, which processes technical data such as IP addresses and request details to deliver and protect the site (see the Cloudflare Privacy Policy).
7. Legal bases (EEA and UK)
Where the GDPR or UK GDPR applies, personalized advertising and access to information on your device rely on the consent you give through Google's consent tool. Other ad-related processing, such as non-personalized ads and fraud prevention, may rely on legitimate interests where the law allows. We answer your emails on the basis of our legitimate interest in providing support, and we run tests because you ask to take part.
8. Sharing and international transfers
We don't sell or rent personal information, and we don't share it with anyone except the service providers named above (Google and Cloudflare). They may process data in the United States and other countries, under their own safeguards for international transfers.
9. Retention and deletion
- Game data on your device: until you uninstall the game or clear its storage.
- Ad data collected by Google: kept by Google under its own policies. Deleting or resetting your advertising ID stops it from being linked to new ad data.
- Support emails: see section 4.
- Test participation: see section 5.
10. Children
Our games are not designed for or directed at children under 13 (under 14 in Korea). We don't knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
11. Security
We keep the information we handle to a minimum: our apps store data only on your device, and we don't operate servers that hold user data. The ad SDK sends data to Google over encrypted connections, and this website is served over HTTPS.
12. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct or delete your personal information, to object to or restrict its use, to data portability, and to withdraw consent at any time. You can also complain to your local data protection authority. Because we don't hold personal information from our apps, requests about ad data are handled by Google — we are happy to help you find the right place. For anything we hold (such as your emails), contact us and we will respond within the time the law requires.
13. Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will update this page and the effective date above. For important changes, we will also let you know on this site or in our apps.
